this is the third time in about three weeks ive picked up and theres nothing but silence on the other side, no one speaks at all. been getting the same empty call every time. really odd situation.

I received a call purporting to be from O2. My son is employed there, so when I informed this rather discourteous gentleman with an Indian accent that I wasn’t keen on his pitch and recognised it as a scam, he continued to press on. I ended up raising my voice, cut the call while he was still rambling about some phone deals, and blocked the number straight afterwards. Clearly, it was a call centre based in India, cleverly using a UK number.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2. Told him I wasn’t interested since my son actually works there. He kept pushing and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Ended up hanging up and blocked the number after telling him he’s a scammer and ought to be ashamed of himself.
