Got a call today about “that little fender bender I was in” and I just couldn’t help laughing, then she cut off straight away! It really threw me off while I was in the middle of some urgent work.

I could hear a call centre buzzing in the background before the line just dropped. I get calls from 0161 numbers like this pretty much every day. The ICO really need to do something about it, otherwise GDPR means nothing at all.

They say they’re from AMS car accident claims (NOT the AMS Solicitors lot). When I asked for more info, they just hung up on me. I get calls from them every day, no matter the time. Blocked another number now.

Some woman with a weird accent called me, saying she got some folder about my accident. I told her she’d got the immigration office by mistake and this number’s off limits. After a bit of silence, she just ended the call. Does anyone actually go along with these calls, or is it just a way to keep people busy?

They’ve phoned me more than 30 times now, always switching numbers when I block one. Trying to get them to take me off their list is pointless, they just ignore it. I finally told the last caller to get lost and quit ringing me! Right after that, the call just dropped.

So i got a call saying i was in an accident or something. I told them it must have been really bad cos I dont even remember it!!! Then i kinda went off the usual lines and they just hung up on me. Called from 2050, total rubbish timing btw. Best not to pick up.

Annoying caller - claimed something about an accident. Told them if they ring again I’ll report them for harassment! Had nearly 20 calls like this recently - tried blocking their number but they keep using different ones. Also asked to be taken off their list but no luck so far.

01613540673 rang me a moment ago. Didn’t recognise the number so I just let it ring out. Turns out it was a telemarketer asking about a car crash that never happened. What a hassle, really wish I could find the person who handed over my phone number to them.

Just got a call from this number, they asked if I had an accident in the last couple of years. I said yeah, then they kept asking me where it happened so I told them to get lost. Next thing, the call just cut off.

The woman on the phone said her name was Chelsea and kept shouting about a car crash I supposedly had, which never happened! She was ringing my late husband’s phone, he passed away last November. When I told her this and asked why she was yelling, she just kept shouting at me. I couldn’t believe it, it was so upsetting. I want to do something about it but when I try to call back the number, it won’t connect! Can anyone advise me on how to deal with this?

Got a call from someone asking about my car crash! I told him I never had an accident and asked him to take my number off, he just kept saying “tomorrow”. I told him “no, do it today” but he just said “tomorrow” again. These kinds of calls are so annoying and should be banned!

I received a call from this number, but they didn’t respond. I suspect that upon hearing me, they might have realised I wouldn't be the easiest mark for their little schemes. Honestly, it's bewildering; people like this really ought to be dealt with. I can’t help but wonder if this is linked to those immigrants who, let’s face it, are often not here through proper channels and seem to be causing more trouble than they’re worth.
