I received a couple of calls from this same number, even after I've told them to remove me from their list due to my TPS registration. It's incredibly frustrating! They keep prattling on about government back grants for free insulation. Their tactics are so aggressive, it's as if they're trying to barge their way into my day with these unsolicited calls. They rarely reveal their company name but push the government initiative angle to snag unsuspecting victims. These kinds of calls really ought to be outlawed, especially when they keep sifting through phone directories. I'm definitely on the TPS list!

I received a call from this number earlier today, but we chose not to answer it and they didn’t leave any voicemail. We gave the number a ring ourselves not long after, only to be met with a recorded message from 'Tameside Insulation'. So, it seems safe to say that it’s a telemarketing call. I've been inundated with calls from 0161 337 2280 lately. My advice would be that, seeing as they're footing the bill for the call and if you've got some spare time, why not keep them chatting for as long as you can? You can certainly listen in, but there's no need to feel pressured into making a purchase. Perhaps if they waste enough time on someone who's not biting, they might finally get the hint! Much like "Magicbunn" and "Anonymous," we received a call from this number earlier today (15.6.11). We have a strong suspicion (which "Anon" echoes) that Tameside Insulation, located in Denton, is behind it. This is not the first time they've reached out to us; in fact, they have previously contacted us multiple times, often from the number "0161 337 2260." They never seem to get a response from us, as we usually leave it to our answer machine to deal with these interruptions. We reckon they're probably after business related to grant-funded home insulation products and services. While they may be a legitimate outfit, it's high time they adhered to the "Telephone Preference" regulations.
