It really came across like it was some kind of robot talking.

Some guy said his name was Steven, and when I told him I’d gotten like 10 calls from him just this past hour, I asked him to stop. Then he threatened to scam me if I didn’t listen to him. I just laughed it off and ended the call. Clearly, he’s just trying to frighten me but I doubt he can actually do anything.

got a call from some guy named shane around 8 in the morning. he claimed my "mobile number" was "chosen" to get a free trial for some "AI home gadget" or something like that. honestly, i have no clue what that even means and wasnt interested one bit - plus it sounded a bit dodgy to me - so i just made an excuse and hung up.

This number has rung me three times today, but each time I pick up, they just hang up straight away.

I've had calls today from a number like 01613305218, and it's linked to an ex-directory line of mine. They never left a message, which makes me suspicious. If the call was genuine, surely they'd drop a note? Another call came in from a nearly identical number earlier today too. It's their money they're using to ring me up, but after the Christmas holidays, the calls are back again. Honestly, they're just wasting their time. How long will it take before they figure out I never answer calls without a voicemail, and that all my calls are recorded?

Got two missed calls yesterday from this number. Picked up when it rang today but they just cut off straight away. I'm definitely blocking it now.
