Received a call yesterday from someone with a pronounced Indian accent. They claimed to be from the technical support team at BT. However, the terminology they used didn't quite align with what BT typically employs. I told her that my account was perfectly fine and there were no issues with my system, to which she abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

This afternoon, I had a rather suspicious call from a gentleman sporting a pronounced Indian accent, who claimed to be a technician from BT. He started off saying that my internet connection was on the fritz and that he could sort it all out, provided I granted him access to my computer. Clearly, this is a scam operation and that number is definitely one to steer clear of. Do take heed if they happen to reach out to you!

There was quite a hold-up when I answered, and the caller had a foreign accent. They claimed to be from the BT technical department. I quickly informed them that I wasn't experiencing any issues with my system or my contract, and before I could finish speaking, they hung up on me.
