Got a call yesterday from someone with a really strong Indian accent claiming to be from BT's tech support. Didn’t sound quite right since BT never say it like that. I just told her everything with my account was fine and there wasn’t any problem with my setup, then she just ended the call.

Today, I got a phone call from a bloke speaking with a thick Indian accent claiming to be a BT engineer. He said my internet was acting up and offered to sort it out if I let him into my computer. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it. This number shouldn’t be trusted at all. Watch out if it rings you up.

There was a bit of a lag when they answered, and the voice sounded like it wasn’t local. They claimed to be from the BT technical support. I told them straight away that everything was fine with my service and I wasn’t having any issues. Right after that, I ended the call and they disconnected too.

Picked up the phone and before I could say anything, they just ended the call. Definitely seems like a scam.
