I got a call from some bloke who said I was owed PPI compensation from a claim I supposedly made ages ago, like six years back or something. He couldn’t tell me any real details but kept asking for my address, email, and DOB. I told him to just send me an email instead. His English was awful and he started getting really annoyed and aggressive when I questioned him. When I mentioned it sounded like a scam, he got even more rude.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent, saying he’d chatted to me back in 2017 about a PPI claim, claiming I was owed £3500. I told him if he’s got my phone, he must have my address and to send it in writing. He kept going despite me asking him to stop and then hung up. Next thing, he rang me seven times in a row before I had to block the number.

Got a call from a bloke with a really thick Asian accent saying he was ringing about my PPI claim. Thing is, I’ve never even filed one. I put the phone down, but they kept ringing back again and again.

I got a call off some bloke saying he was from claims advice bureau, but looked like he was fishing for my bank info.

Someone called me saying they were from a ppi claims company and told me a solicitor would visit my home with my ppi cheque. Since I do have a claim ongoing, I stayed on the line. Then they asked me to pay £100 upfront through paysafe. Definitely felt like a scam straight away.

I got a call today about a PPI payout from 2014, but I never even filed one. They already had my name and where I live, then asked me to verify my date of birth. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
