Got a call from some woman saying she was from British Gas, saying she needed to urgently talk to my missus who’s the account holder. We’d just paid the bill, so this sounded a bit dodgy. British Gas never rings from local numbers and they’d send a letter if there was any problem. I told her my wife wasn’t around, and she said she’d ring back later. Yeah, not happening - she’s blocked now.
