They say they’re from O2, usually ringing when your contract’s about to finish. They call themselves Mobile Expert, saying they’re a third party working with O2. Really, they’re just trying to sell you phones and new contracts. They seem to have a bunch of real names and addresses, but I’m hoping they don’t have any banking or direct debit info. O2 themselves said they don’t have any record of this company.

This could be a genuine business and you may receive a phone with a contract, but it’s completely separate from O2. Your current contract won’t be affected, so you might end up with two contracts and paying double. If you’re looking to upgrade, best to get in touch with O2 directly.
