I had quite the unsettling interaction with a caller who was exceedingly rude. Each time I attempted to convey that I simply didn’t have a moment to chat, as I was in the midst of packing for my holiday, he just interrupted me with shouting. Eventually, his patience seemed to wear so thin that he resorted to telling me to “get lost” repeatedly. It was a rather unpleasant experience!

The number looks like it’s from Manchester, but that pause at the beginning is a clear sign it’s being forwarded from abroad. The accent, which sounded like South Asian, pretty much gave away where the call actually originated. Whenever I get calls like this, if there’s a pause at the start, I just hang up straight away.
