This number rang me up just to get my thoughts about my recent MOT check. Felt legit, so I’d say it’s safe to answer.

i usually just say yeah, i was in a crash that wasn’t my fault, there was this crazy bend in the road i didn’t take properly, it was so bad it basically chopped my head off. then i tell them i’m trying to claim for some surgery to get my head put back on a new, fitter body cause honestly, the old one was looking a bit tired. as you'd expect, they just hang up right away.

most of the time they kick off by saying they’re aware I was in a crash with a vehicle on my name and that the road traffic accident office told them. i’ll often question how they got that info and what kind of accident it supposedly was. sometimes they share a few more details but a lot of times they just say they’ve been told by the rta office.
