I receive a myriad of calls daily from 0161 numbers, all practically identical. It's quite rare to actually speak to someone, and when I do, they absolutely won’t divulge their identity or the purpose of their call. It’s rather disconcerting, to say the least!

As a Brit residing in Corfu, I received a rather annoying call on my Greek mobile today - the date was 7th August 2013. This particular number rang me a staggering six times from 12:10 pm and it’s currently 8:20 pm, and I’ve a nagging feeling that this isn't the end of it! Additionally, there was a call from a similar area code, although it was a different number. When I answered, the line was as silent as a grave. A quick Google search revealed it belonged to the same company as this persistent nuisance... something pertaining to PPI, if I’m not mistaken! It's quite outrageous that they would go to such lengths to hassle me all the way over here in Greece. It's a complete nuisance! Since that initial call, I haven’t bothered to answer again. I’ve read that even if they say nothing, you can still be charged for the privilege of their intrusion!
