Picked up the phone and nobody spoke, pretty clear it was either one of those scam calls or some telemarketing trick.

I’ve had loads of calls from them all week and ignored them today as well. Every time I tried to block the number on my phone, it wouldn’t let me. When I dialled 1471 to see who it was, the moment I got their number, my phone started ringing them back automatically, so I had to stop that quickly. Yesterday, they even added 04 before their number, probably hoping people wouldn’t block them. I reckon they’re from Money In Control, and somehow they had my full name, even though I never confirmed it when I answered one of their calls.

From the 14th to the 22nd of December 2017, I got called 12 times from this number. The calls came at all hours between 10am and 10:30pm. Even tho it shows a Manchester area code, the business behind it is actually located in India and uses this UK number to ring from there. Recently, they've started adding "Debt Collector" below the number when they call. I never asked for their help, nor do I owe any money to them! The phone rings a few times then goes to voicemail, but after that it just switches to silent. This really feels like they're trying to scare people - it's more like harassment and almost threatening. Has anyone else dealt with them or knows if there’s anything you can do about this?

This number just won't stop calling, I’ve already blocked it but they keep phoning back. It’s really annoying, they’ve called me like 5 times today!

It’s been ringing a few times a day, usually just three rings before it stops, but it’s got my mum really anxious since it happens like four times daily.
