When I pick up the phone, there’s silence on the other end, which clearly suggests it's a nuisance caller or possibly some dodgy company.

I’ve had loads of calls from them all week and ignored them today as well. Every time I tried to block the number on my phone, it wouldn’t let me. When I dialled 1471 to see who it was, the moment I got their number, my phone started ringing them back automatically, so I had to stop that quickly. Yesterday, they even added 04 before their number, probably hoping people wouldn’t block them. I reckon they’re from Money In Control, and somehow they had my full name, even though I never confirmed it when I answered one of their calls.

From the 14th to the 22nd of December 2017, I was persistently inundated with 12 calls from this particular number, ringing between 10:00 in the morning and 22:30 in the evening. Although it presents itself as a Manchester number, I've since discovered that the actual outfit is operating out of India, using this number to reach out from there. More worryingly, in their most recent attempts, they've taken to tagging ‘Debt Collector’ beneath their number. I find this baffling as I've neither requested their services nor owe any money, thus have zero need for a debt collector's involvement! The phone rings three times before being sent to voicemail, only to then go abruptly silent. It strikes me that such calls might be inducing undue stress to individuals, given that this same company seems to bully and harass with some threats involved. Is there anyone out there aware of steps we can take against these callers?

This number just won't stop calling, I’ve already blocked it but they keep phoning back. It’s really annoying, they’ve called me like 5 times today!
