I received a rather peculiar phone call earlier, claiming that I was covered by their insurance policy. They mentioned something about updating my insurance. When I inquired how I could possibly be insured for all the various appliances they listed off, the caller was quite evasive. They insisted I'd receive more information in the mail, but then they started probing about my appliances and their brands. It all felt very dodgy right from the start, so I chose not to reveal any details and promptly ended the conversation. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

A bloke rang saying he wanted to offer me an insurance quote. I told him my policy wasn’t due for renewal just yet. Since then, in about a week, I’ve received nearly ten calls from various numbers in Manchester. Blocking each one was a pain, so I finally got fed up and told them to remove me from their calling list.
