01619186677 rang me earlier claiming i’d been in a car crash. I asked the lady who it was but she wouldn’t say, then when I asked again she just hung up. I looked it up on google and its a Manchester number. Google warned me not to share any details. Stay careful everyone. Don’t hand over your info.

I got a call from someone who was a bit hard to understand asking if I was the manager. Since I am, I just said no and mentioned that I’d taken the day off since it was Saturday. It was pretty funny to hear the silence after that!

I’ve lost track of how often this number rings up asking for the director. We’re a tiny, hectic business and the director’s out on site nearly all the time. The caller won’t leave a message or any contact details, just keeps pestering about when the director’ll be back. Honestly, it’s getting a bit much repeating that he’s not here and I haven't got a clue when he’ll be in!

Got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent saying he worked for EDF Energy, our supposed supplier. When I told him EDF doesn’t handle our utilities, he insisted they supply our gas and electricity. I deal with all invoices here, so I’m certain EDF aren’t our supplier, plus we don’t even have a gas supply at this site. Told him to cut the cold calls and ended the call.

Got a call from some energy company, couldn't catch the name properly but they were trying to get us to switch over, saying they had better rates. First thing they asked was how much we’re currently paying! Told them we weren’t interested, but they just kept on pushing and wanted to know our current bill. Honestly, they don’t take no for an answer.

I called our hotel, seeking to speak with a manager. When I was denied, the caller bizarrely inquired about the manager's age. It only got worse from there; they rudely asked if she'd be interested in some rather inappropriate activities and even about her breast size. The conversation escalated, becoming increasingly vulgar, until the call was eventually cut off, but not before I had a chance to record the whole disturbing exchange.

I asked to speak with a manager, and when they said no, I asked how old my manager was. Then they started asking if she wanted to hook up and even asked about her bra size. I put it on speaker and they carried on saying some pretty nasty stuff before the call got cut and I recorded it.

I received a call at the hotel where I’m employed, with the caller requesting to chat with the manager. Throughout the entire conversation, he kept referring to me as ‘darling,’ which was rather off-putting. To top it off, he wrapped up our chat with a rather inappropriate, ‘thank you, love you,’ leaving me feeling quite uneasy. Bloke with a strange accent, sounded nowhere near Manchester, more like somewhere from South Asia. Why do so many of these folks get involved with dodgy scam firms? He said he was from some budget energy provider. When I told him their rates were set to rise next week, he wasn’t pleased. Didn’t seem to care at all about the TPS and couldn’t explain how I ended up on their call list. Tried warning him about reporting to the ICO, but he kept pushing. Ended the call and blocked the number now.
