Somebody called saying they were from HMRC and warned me I'd be arrested if I ended the call. Total scam, no doubt about it.

someone called me but was speaking in a language i didnt recognise, sounded kinda like chinese or something?

I reckon it was one of those call centres or something. Kept asking my name like a broken record but I just wouldn’t say it. In the end, they just ended the call. Sounded like someone from Manchester, and the number ended with 294 2099.

I got a call from this number saying there was an arrest warrant out for me, but then they gave me a totally different number to ring back on. It felt really dodgy, like some kind of scam or con.

Got a call from someone looking for a guy with my last name. Bit odd, really. When I told them to remove my number from their list, they just ended the call. Sounds like one of those telemarketer scams to me.
