On the night of 7th April 2015, around 3am, my phone rang at home. Woken up suddenly, I felt anxious because my mum, who’s nearly 80 and quite poorly, is the only person who might call at odd hours. I tried to ring back straight away, but the call wouldn’t go through. After that, I couldn’t get back to sleep, worrying it might be a hospital ringing from out of town with bad news. Later, I found complaints online about that number, and only then was I able to calm down. Honestly, something needs to be done to stop these unsettling calls in the middle of the night.
