I got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk and that my line was about to be shut off. I was pretty sure I’d blocked these sorts of calls before, but it looks like they found a way past my block. I’ve blocked the number again now, just waiting to see if they try ringing again.

Got this automated call earlier claiming to be from my broadband supplier, warning my connection was about to be disconnected today. The message said to "Press 1 to talk to an agent." I ended up chatting with the bloke on the other end for a good hour and 4 mins before getting fed up and telling him I knew it was a con. Turns out the guy was dropping some pretty rude insults, calling me a "M-F" and threatening to "F your mother" or something like that. Lovely, got roasted by some cheeky scammer!
