I received a rather peculiar call from a woman claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs. She was Asian and, interestingly, she seemed to expect me to respond immediately after introducing herself. Oddly enough, she didn't bother explaining the purpose of her call and addressed me as "Mrs," even though I clearly go by "Miss." I voiced my thoughts on the matter and decided it was best to hang up. Quite the strange experience!
