I put my phone number in on their site just to see if their fibre broadband was available, and now I’ve had four calls from 4th Utility trying to sell me their service. Quite annoying!

I really struggled to comprehend what this caller was on about. The voice sounded mechanical, and the connection was utterly dreadful. They kept rambling on about me being chosen for some kind of prize or a special offer, but honestly, it was all rather vague and left me completely baffled about the details.

This number rang us, and they talked about a computer, but when I tried returning the call, the person on the other end said they never phoned. Seems really fishy to me.

On the 8th of November 2023 I got a call from an automated voice telling me I'd been chosen for something but I couldn’t make out what it was. The call just dropped after that, so I ended it myself. I tried ringing back and a bloke answered just with a quiet "Hello?". It didn’t seem like something Virgin Media would do, even though this number supposedly belongs to them, so I ended the call straight away.
