I received a couple of calls earlier today from someone claiming to be from Virgin Media, insisting they’d detected problems with my broadband connection. They urged me to download an EXE file to sort out the so-called issue, which naturally raised alarm bells. I mean, who in their right mind would ask you to install a file on your device like that? When I pushed back and questioned their legitimacy, they abruptly cut the call. It's baffling - two calls in one day from the same dodgy source! Be wary, folks!

They rang but didn't bother to leave a message on the voicemail, which suggests it’s either a dodgy operation or some sort of promotional call.

I didn't receive any message, and my phone didn't even bother to ring. I reckon I’ll add this number to my blocked list. It’s likely one of those dodgy scam calls since I don’t have any acquaintances in Birmingham.

I got a call today from 01612820416 claiming there was an issue with my Virgin Media service. I had to chuckle, because I've never even signed up with Virgin. So I quite bluntly told them to shove off and hung up. Since then, they've tried calling me three more times. Honestly, how do these people not get the hint? Complete muppets!
