They introduced themselves as the Motoring Assistance Team and seemed to have some information about a car accident I had last year. They assured me I’d receive a cheque for £2,000 within a span of 6 to 12 weeks. When I inquired about their name, he mentioned it was Michael Kirk. Something about this feels off, and I suspect it might be a scam.
