These calls are such a pain. Every time I block one number, they just ring me up from another one. I usually don’t pick up if I don’t recognise the number, but it’s still really frustrating. They seriously need to do something about it.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Eric from Aviva about life insurance. As soon as I answered, he quickly hung up. I’m guessing he recognised my number from before since I already reported the same number to both Aviva and the cops. Typical spam attempt!

Got a call from some guy named Jake claiming to be from Aegon (he sounded Indian). I have a pension with them, so I was listening. He told me he was recording the call for admin reasons and then asked me to verify my date of birth. I refused, and he just ended the call straight away. Definitely feels like a spam call to me.
