Got a call from some guy named Marcus who claimed to be from O2. He said he wanted me to buy an O2 SIM-only deal. The number he called from had nothing to do with O2 though. Pretty clear it was a scam.

i usually dont pick up calls from numbers i don't recognise. from what i've noticed, ones starting with 0161 or 020 are often scams, at least in my experience. just thought i'd warn everyone.

I had a couple of calls from this particular number earlier today. The first one, I unfortunately missed around 11:27, and the second one I actually picked up at 14:39. It felt like I was connected to a call centre, as there was nothing but silence on the other end. I ended up greeting the caller twice, but then they just disconnected. In true fashion, I tried calling them back while jotting down the number, but to be honest, I got a bit anxious about it!
