I'm encountering a similar predicament - it appears they've got hold of some billing details from way back in 2016, as he referenced a statement from September of that year. Yet again, I’m currently with EE, and he keeps bringing up the Data Protection Act, explaining why he can’t share your own name with you. Typical customer service nonsense, I suppose! You mention your bill hovers around £20 a month, and he claims it could drop to £15 if you switch over. By the way, he's got a proper broad Mancunian accent!

Someone rang me purporting to be from EE, but I've yet to receive my phone or SIM. I’ve made multiple attempts to reach out using the three contact numbers I was given, but all have gone unanswered. Steer clear of this lot!

Today, I had a rather dodgy call purporting to be from EE. The bloke on the other end insisted that my phone was still linked to Orange and that I ought to make the switch to EE. He went on about a new SIM card supposedly being sent out to me, and all sorts of nonsense.
I told him I was on holiday and would ring back later. He sounded quite taken aback that I wasn’t willing to listen to his drivel!

I received a rather dubious phone call from someone purporting to be with EE, insisting that I should transition my account from Orange because I was allegedly being overcharged. They claimed my bill was roughly £25, but that’s far from the truth. When I set them straight about my actual monthly charge being just £11, they abruptly cut the conversation short. If they were genuine representatives of EE, they’d have had the right details at hand. Quite suspicious, to say the least!

Received a call from someone claiming to be EE, warning that my Orange SIM would cease functioning. The irony is I’m already with EE!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from EE, insisting that my SIM had expired and that my phone would be switched off within a day unless I took immediate action. To be honest, I had no clue what they were actually after, so I decided to cut the conversation short. It seemed to me they were either trying to rope me into some sort of subscription or fishing for my bank information. I'd strongly advise steering clear of these folks; they definitely raised some alarm bells for me!

I received a rather dodgy phone call from an individual inquiring about the type of SIM card I use, suggesting that something 'exciting' was on its way to my address. They claimed to be affiliated with EE, but I promptly blocked the number. If EE genuinely needs to reach me, I reckon they can drop me a letter instead!

Seems they’re also using the number 07464266884. They presented themselves as 'upgrade my mobile' (I picked up by mistake - I usually steer clear of unknown numbers). I made it clear I wasn’t keen, yet they continued to badger me relentlessly, ringing back immediately after I’d ended the call. On their third attempt, I was rather vocal about how much they were pestering me and told them to remove themselves from my phone line. This occurred earlier today, 1st March 2016. They paused for about an hour before trying again, although I chose not to respond this time. Curiously, the numbers I did answer aren’t showing up in my call log - quite strange, isn’t it?
