I let a call slip through my fingers.

Got a call saying my Orange line was about to be closed since EE took over and were shutting down Orange accounts. They gave me a couple of numbers to ring to get a PAC code to move my phone number - one said it was from India Orange 0800 0790005 and another robot number 07973 100150. I haven’t phoned either of them. From what I understand, a PAC number is for unlocking phones, not for moving your number. I gave the caller my work email for details, but of course, no email has come through. I’m planning to contact Orange myself and report this dodgy call.
