I received a call from a rather pushy third-party energy provider, claiming that my contract would be expiring in November. He insisted he had a chat with the business owner a few weeks back, which I knew was nonsense. The truth is, my contract doesn't end until May, and I made that quite clear to him. However, he proceeded to treat me like a simpleton, saying he would break things down for me in layman’s terms. Essentially, he stated that my existing contract set to commence in May was somehow void due to the pandemic and various market fluctuations. He boldly asserted that, in theory, I could face a staggering 60% hike in my electric rates. He was keen for me to sign off on allowing him to shop around for new pricing options. After eight and a half minutes of my life wasted, I firmly told him to take a hike.

Somebody called saying they were from 'Commercial Services' and insisted I owed money on an electricity bill. We rent a serviced office with all bills included, so I told them to contact the landlord instead. They kept insisting it was my responsibility and started sounding quite hostile. A guy rang up saying he was from some energy firm, and he was proper rude and pushy. He wouldn't accept that we hadn’t just moved in, kept going on about it. I told him I keep tabs on our energy account myself and know exactly what's going on. Then he switched to this silly slow tone like "well it wouldn’t be here if that was true." This morning the same number 0161 2734055 rang again but they just hung up. I’ve seen a few comments here about Yell too. Got a really annoying call from someone at Commercial Support Service. I asked if they even bothered to check the number on the TPS list beforehand and they just looked confused. They were trying to sell me some energy saving thing for a business premises when the energy costs are already covered in the rent. Proper harassment. Just a complete waste of my time. I had a rather persistent chap ring up seeking our Managing Director. I firmly told him that wouldn't be possible, suggesting he send an email to our general inbox instead. In the end, I advised him to refrain from wasting our time and hung up. I would recommend others do the same; it seems he's just another pushy salesperson. Quick update - I’ve gone ahead and told the Police and also Action Fraud about it. My advice? Keep reporting it over and over - it’s the only way we stand a chance to put a stop to these scammers. The more we keep them in the loop, the better the chances of shutting this down for good!

Some bloke said his name was Mark Hughes, and by the end of the call, he actually called me a "stupid f####ing b###". I've reported it to the Police because this behaviour is totally unacceptable and needs to be stopped. After reading other people's experiences with this number, it's shocking that they're still running. I've blocked the number myself but that doesn't help anyone else being targeted. It's basically harassment and really nasty.

Got a call from a bloke named Matthew claiming he’s with the company registration dept. When I asked him for the website and company name, he just started swearing at me. The call was supposed to be about our tenancy.

Proper pushy and kept at it nonstop. This time, the bloke was cussing me out. I've reported it to Action Fraud because these calls are really wearing me out, especially as I'm trying to start up a new business. Don't bother engaging with these lot - all I got was a guy with a Scouse accent, and honestly, that was more than enough!

Some bloke called himself Ben and sounded pretty chill, but he said the call was about some registration or a tenancy change. He didn’t really go into it cause he was only asking for "the business owner." Didn’t even know what our business was called.

They've rung me about 5 times today. Like others have said, they were really rude to several people in our office. Seems to be about signing up a new company name. They swear a lot, called us racist and idiots, all that nonsense.

This week I’ve had to block calls from Commercial Supply Services about ten times, all from different numbers. The most recent one came from 01612744556. Some chap with a smooth voice was asking me about the electricity supply, going on about a new tenancy or that we have new owners. I told him I’m tied into a five-year contract with X company just to make him leave me alone. When I asked him to take my details off their list because I’m not interested, he flat out refused. Proper idiots.

Over the past week, I’ve had several calls at work from two different numbers: 0161 2744556 and 0161 2734055. It’s pretty much nonstop, maybe around 20 times a day. They keep trying to get info for some kind of database, but as soon as I ask them anything, they abruptly end the call. I’m planning to block the numbers, report them to the TPS, and also lodge a complaint with the utility ombudsman. I get that they’re doing their job, but honestly, they’re really unpleasant to deal with.

I got a call about my energy bill, so I cut it short pretty fast. Then, out of nowhere, they rang me again from a blocked number and started being really rude. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind bumping into them face to face.

Within just ten minutes, this number buzzed my phone five times. Every time I ignored it, they switched to calling with a no caller ID. When I finally picked up, the bloke said, "you can ignore me now can you!" moments later he rang back and went, "can you hear me now rude b#####." How on earth do you put an end to people like this?

Blimey, these lot are relentless! Just 'cause I put a mate from work as a director, they've rung me 7 or 8 times today alone, trying to boss me about. One even told me to hand the phone over to that colleague. I made it crystal clear I didn't want any more calls or their orders. They’re even calling from hidden numbers. Honestly, stay well clear of these!

Got a call from some bloke from Manchester on a terrible line, sounded like one of those pushy sales calls. When I asked what his business was, all he said was something about "company formations." Tried to get his address but he wouldn’t tell me. I ended the call, but he kept calling back - about four more times! Finally, on the last call, he just started telling me to "f##k off." Decided to report the whole thing to the police.

I've been getting loads of calls from this and similar 016127... numbers, all asking about "utilities," even though I've told them several times to stop. After I finally snapped and told them off, I got hammered with nearly 9 calls in just two minutes, this time from a 'Withheld' number. A few times I answered and told the bloke to stop ringing me, and he just shouted back horrible abuse. It's clear these are just scam artists targeting old folks and those who might not see through their tricks. Proper low-life stuff.

Hey everyone, I've been getting calls non-stop, like every 30 minutes or so. It's just a total waste of my time and super annoying. Seriously, avoid answering them. If anyone knows how to report these annoying callers, please tell me. I feel like they're harassing me now.

We keep getting loads of calls all day from these so-called utility people, and it's really messing things up for our customers trying to reach us. Blocking one number doesn't help because they always ring back from a different but almost identical number. It's just nonstop!

Following up on my earlier rant about those lot at Commercial Supply Services - what started as 6 calls has now ballooned to 16! I’ve even resorted to blowing a whistle down the phone at them, but that clearly hasn’t put them off since they keep ringing anyway. Honestly, if they were the last utility company around, I still wouldn’t touch them. Is there seriously no way to report these clowns? Someone has to be able to do something, right?

Honestly, I'd steer clear of answering this number if you don't want to deal with some seriously rude and pushy behaviour. They claim to be from Commercial Support and keep demanding to talk to the person in charge of the business about tenancy and electricity stuff. I got nonstop calls, and bizarrely, they tried to make it look like I was the one being impolite! A few times they'd just hang up on me mid-conversation, then call right back, either hanging up as I picked up or going over the same thing about wanting the owner again. Best to just avoid these lot completely!

I’ve told them repeatedly the managers aren’t here, but they won’t take the hint. Then out of nowhere, they’ve started telling us to “Go F### ourselves.” Proper rude!

Had like four calls from the same number today. I picked up once and the bloke left a voicemail calling me a p###. Then later, a woman got in touch from a similar number, trying to sell electrical work. Told her I was tied up and she said she’d ring back later, said it was something I really needed to sort with them. Honestly, just ignore these calls if you can. Me, I’m thinking of messing about with fake names and bogus card details just to waste their time. Would be good to know where they’re based...

This number kept ringing me up trying to get me to switch my energy provider. When I told them I wasn't up for it, they started getting really pushy and quite rude. Proper annoying!

This guy was really rude from the start. When I asked why he was ringing, he immediately snapped back with “don’t be rude to me.” Said he was calling from some “company registration department” regarding a new tenancy at the place we’ve lived in for over three years. Honestly, he was super aggressive in a flash - probably one of the nastiest callers I’ve had.
