Got a call from Conor at Commercial Support Services, proper annoying bloke. He was banging on about a business we set up last week, but on a number that’s got nothing to do with it (the company isn’t even trading yet). Wouldn’t say what the call was about, just got all argumentative and rude. We’ve had about 20 calls like this from them and they just keep ringing. I ended up telling him to do one and stop calling - not the best, but I’m honestly fed up with the constant pestering!

Honestly, I’ve gotten like 19 calls today on both my work and personal phone from these lot. How do I put an end to it? They keep saying I’ve gotta register my meter for some new shop! A guy called me claiming I was on some 'deemed' energy deal and paying nearly double because it was an emergency tariff. He couldn’t even say who my current supplier was! We switched providers 7 months back, so I knew he was talking rubbish. Still, Connor Daniels kept pushing that his info was up to date and just wanted me to follow a few steps to fix it. I kept telling him he was wrong but he wouldn’t back down until I asked him for his company and full name. Plus, he wouldn’t take my number off his list when I asked.

Total rip off. They claim they’ll save you cash but end up charging you way more so they can earn bigger commissions than other energy brokers. Honestly, easier and cheaper to just use a comparison site and sort it yourself. Reading the comments below just confirms it. Awful company, honestly hope they get closed down.

About a month back, we updated our main office number with 118118 and ever since, we’ve been flooded with calls from some Commercial support team. Most of the callers have been quite rude, and today I even got called a Fxxking cow and an ignorant Bxtch. I got on the phone with a bloke named Paul at AED, and he said for sure that number isn't theirs. Looks like there’s a firm called Utility Hive, also from Manchester, who're faking their numbers. I've already reported Utility Hive to Ofcom and Trading Standards. The deal AED gave me was pretty fair, so I went ahead and signed up with them. AED is a proper company and I’m really pleased with the contract I got.

When I asked who was calling, he just snapped out “Matthew” without any politeness (we’re a legal practice, mind). When I asked what it was about, he only said “change of tenancy” and nothing more. Then he called back and just hung up when I tried to connect him to the senior partner. If he doesn’t provide proper details, there's no way I’m passing him on. If this is meant to be a professional service, Matthew’s doing a terrible job of making a good impression.

Got a call from O2 marketing - first time it was some odd 017 number but then she phoned me back from this number. She helped me sort out a new O2 contract with a nice new deal on it. Seemed totally legit, I even double checked the terms and conditions.

The caller was quite rude, hurling insults and calling me "thick as a brick" when I refused to connect them to the person they presumed they had the right to chat with. After hanging up, they incessantly rang me back within the next five minutes. To top it all off, I kept getting intermittent calls for the rest of the day.

Proper rude Scouser on the line, kept pushing even after we said no. Kept hanging up but rang back from a blocked number nonstop. When a mate told him to stop, he went and called her a Dog straight away. Definitely not the kind of behaviour you'd expect from anyone professional.

I've been receiving incessant calls from some dodgy electricity firm, all because I made the blunder of confirming my business details over the phone when some chap claimed he was updating their online directory. Since then, they've been relentless, bombarding me with messages about how "your meter needs changing," and "we've dispatched the papers, but time's running out!" It seems they’re trying their hardest to frighten me into action. Today alone, the same fella has rung me a whopping TWELVE times! You’d think they’d get the message - I MOVED IN SIX MONTHS AGO!!! On the latest call, I pointed out that we’d just spoken, to which he feigned ignorance and insisted he'd never laid eyes on me before! It’s truly becoming tiresome now!!!

Got a call from this number but no voicemail left, tried ringing back a few times and it was always busy. Fingers crossed it’s not connected to the utility firms because lately I've been getting loads of calls from different energy companies desperate to get me to switch, and honestly some of those folks have been quite rude, even crossed the line enough to consider reporting them for their behaviour. If this number’s part of that lot, I’ll definitely be informing the regulator.

Fingers crossed it’s nothing related to utility companies - we’ve been spammed recently by loads claiming to be from electricity suppliers. They’ve been really aggressive and some even quite rude, which forced me to report them for bad behaviour. Today alone, we've been bombarded with several dodgy phone calls-this number and a bunch of others, all within a very short time frame. These chaps are pretending to be from various utility companies and directory services, desperately seeking information about our suppliers and metering details. One bloke had the audacity to hurl some foul language my way, whilst another simply raised his voice, and both promptly ended the call when I challenged them. It's quite infuriating, to say the least!
