Got a call from a middleman outfit pushing energy deals. Seems like they hang about for folks to set up a business, then ring up saying you gotta sign your energy meter up with them. You really dont have to do any of that. Theyre just after cash for a service that isnt necessary. Best to just block and forget about it.

0161 273 4055 kept calling me asking for personal details, saying I need to sign up with them to keep the energy supply for my new business. When I asked who they actually were and said I'd check with my supplier if it was genuine, they just hung up. Still, they keep ringing. I've had about 10 calls now and ended up blocking the number on my phone. They call themselves Customer Support but get really annoyed when I question them, warning that my energy will be cut off if I don’t reply because supposedly I’m on a temporary supply.

Got this annoying call that just disconnects right when you pick up. A little while later, a "sales" rep rings back. Looks like it could be an energy provider using info from Companies House to get your details. They seem to use autodial and call back from different numbers. Other numbers I've seen them use are 0161 274 4666, 0161 274 4556, and 0161 246 7974. Best bet is to reject the calls straight away and block every number. That's the fastest way to put an end to these pestering calls.

Just today since about 8:30am, I've had loads of calls from these numbers: 01253 809212, 01253 489730, 01253 209288, 0121 732 9987, 01253 489777, 01253 271991, 0121 732 9980, 01253 271998, 01482 293985, 01637 706996, 0161 273 4055, 01484 216988, plus a bunch of calls with no ID showing. It's nearly 3:40pm now and they’ve been ringing nonstop from all over - Blackpool, Birmingham, Hull, Newquay, Manchester, Huddersfield. I gave up answering after the first four this morning, too much hassle.

So the Blackpool calls finally stopped after I snapped at the last couple out of almost 9, first a bit rude then the last time just straight up swearing at them (though they kept babbling on). We’re relocating our office and got a call from some lot called 'Utility Registration Office' claiming we had to arrange our energy with them. I told them we weren’t interested and they turned really hostile and started abusing, including one of our female Directors. Now, we’re getting about six silent calls every day from that number. Companies House lists the owner of Utility Registration Office Ltd as David Anthony Hartley at 17 Oakwood Drive, Preston, UK, PR4 3EW. I’ll be near there soon, so think I’ll drop by to give him a piece of my mind for all the hassle.

Not sure what was going on, didnt even get that far. Ive been getting nonstop calls from Manchester numbers trying to sell stuff for my upcoming restaurant, linked to a facebook page I made. A few days ago I got a ring from "YELL" asking me to update my business details. I said yes without really thinking about who might be on the other end. Since then, I've been bombarded with about 22 scam calls over three days, all demanding to speak to my manager and threatening me about a contract renewal deadline or some vague nonsense. They were throwing around my name and my business partner's to sound legit, asking for my personal details to send some documents or something. This bloke has rang my workplace about seven times in two days, asking for my manager. When I said she was tied up, he called me a liar and an idiot. On top of that, he swore at my manager, telling her to “go F##k herself.” It’s been proper annoying.

They’ve rung me a few times across the last several months. Not really pushy though, but when I do answer, no one’s there on the other end, so I’m clueless about what they want exactly.

Had a really horrible experience with these numbers 0161 273 4055 and 0161 274 4556. They kept ringing me, being super pushy and wouldn’t accept my refusal. Kept insisting they were from British Gas, though I seriously doubt it. Quite aggressive and definitely not the kind of call I wanted.

So some bloke called, wanted to speak to my boss who's away on holiday. When I told him that, he started calling me names - stupid, dozy b*****d and all sorts. The call finished with him telling me to go f*** myself. What a nightmare!

Proper rude and pushy bloke on the phone. He kept shouting over me and got all wound up, telling me I had dementia just 'cause I wasn’t following what he was saying. Kept insisting it was my last chance to hear him out and said he’d ring back in about thirty minutes. Couldn't take it anymore, so I had to block the number just to stop the hassle.

I get calls from these pushy people like 10 times a day, it’s honestly so annoying. They’re really rude and if I try to just end the call, they keep calling back nonstop. Sometimes they shout at me over the phone, or just hang up. There seriously needs to be some kind of law against this kind of behaviour from businesses!!

Got a call trying to push business energy deals on me, really frustrating. I’d never go for something over the phone myself, always check prices online instead. It’s so much easier that way.
