got a message claiming to be from vodafone 121 saying i'd missed a call from their number. problem is, i haven't even been on my phone and there's no missed call showing anywhere. quite odd really.

This sounds like one of those typical scam or cold calls to me - ive just ended up blocking and deleting it straight away. Ive noticed loads of people have checked the number, but barely anyone has actually commented on it. If so many ppl are searching for who it is, but no one can say for sure, then its probably best to stay clear cos it cant be anything positive.
