I got a call from someone claiming to be with the national debt council. When I said I had no debts and that I was signed up with the mobile preference service so they really shouldn’t be ringing me, she just told me to “get lost”. Proper cheeky behaviour!

I tried ringing back but the number was unreachable. Pretty sure it was one of those annoying nuisance calls, so I've gone ahead and blocked it now.

These blighters keep ringing us non-stop - pure annoyance! They seem to think it’s alright to pester us with sales pitches despite being on the TPS list and having an unlisted number. Definitely advisable to block them!

My missus hung up straight away once she worked out it was some boiler sales call. I tried ringing them back and got one of those automated messages saying I’d been entered into some prize draw. You'd think most folks aren’t daft enough to believe BT has nothing to do with this mess. Clearly BT gains from all these scam calls flying about, so it’s hardly in their best interest to stop them.

I got this recorded call about some government plan to swap my boiler. The weird part is, I don’t even have a boiler! I actually spoke to someone about it recently and told them that, and they said sorry for calling me by mistake.
