Got a call from this number, and the bloke with an Asian accent was trying to sell me a business loan for £25,000. I just ended the call straight away. Then the same number rang again, this time someone was pushing a credit card machine with cheap rental fees. I wasn’t having any of it and told them off. Definitely a scam!

Another nuisance to add to my blocked callers! This bloke kept hassling me for passport info, bank paperwork, business details, and my mobile number, asking me to send everything to some dodgy email at [email protected]. Claimed my new card reader was due Friday. Even after calling him out for being a scammer, he wouldn’t drop it. Honestly enjoyed messing about and wasting his time though!

Someone with a really thick foreign accent called me up, trying to sell a loan for “around 10 to 20 grand.” I told them I wasn’t interested and they just hung up. Just a heads up: don’t ever use the ring-back feature if they hang up first! I read about a case where someone did that and got scammed. Often, that’s exactly what the caller wants - to trick you into calling a premium number or something dodgy. Plus, by ringing back, you’re basically confirming you’re interested, so they might start bugging you more or sell your info to other scammers.

It’s usually someone from the power company or card machine firms ringing me up. They get really rude if you don’t go along with what they say.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with a card machine firm, but they never gave a name. Then the phone got handed to another person who barely spoke English, repeating they were from a card machine company. I told them I wasn’t interested. They asked me why. I said I was tired of getting calls multiple times a day about card machines and asked them to remove my number from their calling list. They said they weren’t able to do that, then just hung up on me.

Looks like this number belongs to a scam firm that tricks companies with fake card machines and bogus loans.

When I called them out as scammers, the person on the line got pretty annoyed. Definitely think this number should be blocked.

Got a call about my card reader.. I said I’m not interested but they kept ringing me back four times.

They claimed to be ringing from my card provider, which isn’t even local to Manchester. When I asked, "Which company is that?" there was no reply, just dodgy, sarcastic answers. After the first call, I told them I was tied into a contract and not interested. By the fourth call, I was furious because it was blocking my customers’ calls. When I confronted them, they had the cheek to ask if I was crying - it was anger, not tears! On the seventh call, we blasted a loud noise down the line and just hung up, the last one going straight to voicemail. It’s shocking that any firm would let their sales team behave with such blatant rudeness, lies, and harassment. Absolutely disgraceful.

They kept ringing me about card machines, like 6 times back to back even after I told them I wasn’t interested. Every time I tried to end the call, the person got really pushy asking why I hung up on them. It felt quite intimidating, had to answer because I wasn’t sure if it was legit. I kept telling them to stop as it was feeling like harassment, but they just called right back straight away. In the end, I just had to let the phone ring out.
