I got a voicemail from a robotic female voice after missing a call from an unfamiliar number. Honestly, I never pick up if the number looks dodgy. The message said I needed to ring back or my solicitor would be contacted - something about Denis Grey or Gray at HMRC, but no proper reason was given. I've already emailed HMRC’s phishing team at phishing[at]hmrc.gov.uk to let them know this was a scam.

got a phone call from what sounded like an automated system claiming to be hmrc. it was flagged as ‘dangerous’ - looks like they’re targeting elderly folks who might get scared of official sounding calls and think they’re in trouble, so they end up ringing back the number. quite nasty really.
