some ppi firm rang up claiming i signed up on their site, but it seemed like just a trick to get info from me. they said they’d remove me from their calls, but I’m not holding my breath. we’ll see if they actually do it.

Last week I reckon I got at least ten calls, always one ringing then another one not long after, like half a minute later. They never left a voicemail or anything. Now I just ignore any calls coming from Manchester cos luckily I don’t know anyone from there.

Got a call but no message left. When I dialled back, an automated voice said it was from a ‘bank refund’ and offered to take me off their call list if I pressed 5. Could be legit, but it’s an unexpected call and just causes stress. Honestly, I’d suggest just blocking it to be safe.
