i keep getting calls from various numbers beginning 016 1814 79##, so now i just save them all under ‘ignore’ on my phone. never bother returning the call. usually, they hang up right away to tempt you into calling back, probably to catch you on a premium line charge. some of the calls sound like those ppi or insurance dodgy ones. feels like it’s all the same outfit trying different scams.
