They ring me on my mobile loads of times every day, same area code but the last few numbers keep switching. I keep putting them on block though.

Got a call from some lot calling themselves 'The Payment Protection Team' and right off the bat they say my info matched and I can claim something, asking for my signature to get going. Honestly, this scam is pretty slick and well done, gotta admit they’ve nailed it!

I’m just someone stuck in a rubbish job with nothing better to do than hang around this site, whining about call centre workers like I’m better than them. They said they were from Payment Protection Manchester, had a laugh over the phone, asked if I was ok, and when I answered bluntly, they just ended the call. Total wankers.

Since their number can be traced, why aren't the proper authorities stepping in to stop their illegal actions? They've been reported for harassment. I picked up a call from this number, and the person started asking about PPI. I told them nicely I wasn’t interested and ended the call. But then the bloke rang me back, saying I’d be getting calls all day and to “enjoy it”. Since that first ring at 10:52, I’ve probably had about 13 calls from them. Thank heavens I figured out how to block the number. If they had the guts, someone should ring them back and give the so-called company and their idiot staff a taste of their own medicine. But honestly, what help can you give to muppets like that?

some bloke on the phone, going on about loads of dodgy banks scamming folks with p.p.i. claims. problem was, he was way off, his firm didn't even have my right address. oops! he soon stopped paying attention and just talked over me when he couldn’t handle the chat! in the end, he just hung up. :(
