Some woman called saying her name was Marcia and that she was from BT Open Reach, claiming there was a problem with my router. When I asked her where she was calling me from, she said BT’s London branch, but the number showing was actually based in Manchester! Pretty obvious it was a scam. She quickly hung up once I started asking too many questions.
