The moment I answered the call, they hung up straight away.

I recently received a call from this number, and the person on the other end didn’t even manage to get our last name correct. When we pressed for information about who they represented, they mentioned they were from RBC. However, as soon as we started asking more questions, this individual claimed she might have dialled the wrong number and promptly hung up. Sounds like a scam, doesn’t it? Could anyone shed some light on this?
