On the 16th of July, 2013, just after 11am, I got a ring from this Danish number. I wasn’t home at the time, so I didn’t pick up. If they try again, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for this number.

Today we got a call from someone in Switzerland, but his English was so bad, even though my husband is fluent, he couldn't make sense of what he was saying. After a while, my husband just ended the call. The caller claimed to be from Lyss, a small town near us. Sounds fishy to me - probably some dodgy scammer who just digs up numbers online and rings them randomly.

I just got a call from someone named Mr Raymond Steele using the same phone number. From what I could catch through the poor line, it had something to do with insurance. Then they put me through to his boss, a lady who spoke really fast, and she wanted to verify that I’d been talking to Mr Steele.

I got a call from a bloke with a strong Indian or maybe Pakistani accent, and there was a lot of racket going on behind him. I just ended the call before he could finish his sentence. I’m pretty sure he was gonna say something about my computer having issues that he could fix - classic scam stuff. My advice is either don’t pick up the phone or keep quiet if you do. If you fancy having a bit of fun, let him chat away but don’t reply, eventually he’ll hang up and waste his time calling you.
