I was taken aback by an unexpected phone call from this outfit on my work mobile, something I’ve never encountered before. The chap who introduced himself as "Junior" seemed keen to have a chinwag about some PPI related to a loan I supposedly acquired a decade ago. The truth is, I've never had a loan in my life! My husband and I found ourselves quite curious about what his intentions were. I requested his full name, which he claimed was Junior Williamsons. It was at this point he noticeably got flustered, as if he had someone whispering in his ear. When I pressed for a word with the person supposedly guiding him, he promptly cut the line. There was an unmistakable hubbub of a call centre buzzing in the background, and his interrogation skills left a lot to be desired. Your website was a godsend in helping me verify this. - Caller: Drummonds, Manchester

I was surprised to receive an unexpected phone call from a company on my work mobile. This was the first time it had ever happened. A person who identified themselves as "Junior" insisted on discussing the PPI on a loan I allegedly took out 10 years ago. The thing is, I have never had a loan in my life. My husband and I decided to probe further and find out what this person was after. I requested Junior's full name (he introduced himself as Junior Williamsons) and this seemed to unsettle him. It was evident that he was being coached by someone next to him. When I asked to speak to the handler who was providing the coaching, Junior abruptly hung up. I could hear background noise similar to a call centre, but the whole questioning process seemed very unprofessional. I am grateful for your website, as it allowed me to verify the legitimacy of this call.

I recently received continuous calls from someone looking for someone named Kathy Ann. After hanging up on them, they persistently called me back. When I eventually answered, they became annoyed because I did not inform them that they had the wrong number before ending the call.

We keep receiving calls from this number on a recurring basis. Once, when my husband answered, a lady who said she worked for Drummonds (not sure about the exact name) knew about our kitchen purchase from Moben and that we had used a credit card for payment. She was insistent that we could make a claim for mis-sold PPI. It's rather puzzling as to where she got this information. Although we have registered our phone number with TPS, we are still bombarded with unsolicited calls. Is there any effective method to put an end to this nuisance?

The aim is to collect outstanding debts from bank loans and overdrafts. Therefore, if they inquire to speak with someone specific, simply state that said individual does not reside at the given address and provide an alternative name.

Received a call earlier today from a man using the number 01612448215, informing me that the purpose of the call was to provide me with an information pack to help in claiming back PPI from Lloyds TSB. I took some time to interrogate him regarding the identity of his company, its location, and how he obtained my information. According to him, he works for the Financial Claims Department based in Manchester. Allegedly, they employ a private investigator to gather such information. However, his version of events kept changing, and he never requested any personal details from me. If you ever receive such calls, it is advisable to ask numerous questions and repeat them later on. If you feel suspicious, simply disconnect the call!

I received a call from what seemed to be a Manchester number, so I answered it. It was a young lady who knew my name and asked about a loan I had supposedly taken out with Lloyds/TSB. She claimed to be from Drummins Ltd (not entirely sure about the name). When I informed her that I hadn't taken any such loan, she then mentioned that it could have been from Barclays. I honestly couldn't remember, so I told her that. She quickly apologized for bothering me and ended the call. I must admit, she wasn't pushy at all, and in today's tough times, it's easy to forget that people are just trying to make a living.

I received a call from a certain number, which got me worried because the person knew my first name, last name, and complete mailing address. They also knew that I had bought a kitchen from Moben within the past few years. The caller informed me that payment protection had been added to the kitchen's cost without my knowledge, and they offered to help me claim back £1,400. However, I became suspicious when they insisted that I provide them with my full name and the credit card details I used to make the payment, in order to send me the necessary forms for the claim. Unfortunately, I couldn't recall which credit card I had used and the caller suggested that I guess a couple of options so they could verify it against their records. Sensing something was not right, I declined their request and terminated the call. Thankfully, I have not heard from them again.

Despite their convincing approach, I am concerned that other individuals may be fooled by their tactics.

I received a phone call at 6.15 pm informing me that my bank owed me £3000 in overcharges. I explained that I only had a current account for my state pension. However, they insisted on obtaining my sort code and account number, promising to call me back later. In hindsight, I realize it may have been foolish to provide that information, but as a pensioner, £3000 is a substantial amount of money.

Over the past four days, I have been receiving calls on a daily basis from an unidentified number. Nonetheless, the caller has not deemed it necessary to leave a message when my call reaches voicemail. I am wondering if you could help me identify the company behind these repeated calls?
