Got a call from 001 244 566-524, but it showed as if it was coming from the UK. A woman with a typical call centre background noise asked for my missus by name, which really threw me off since she’s got no connection to this number whatsoever. The last time I got a call like that, it turned out to be some dodgy ambulance chaser.

Had a call from +1 (244) 566-524 showing on my phone. Normally, I ignore these calls, but I get worried that if they leave a message on your voicemail it might cost you. I got billed £17 for a call that supposedly came from my sim, but I have no memory of dialing that number. Since it's a Saturday, it feels just criminal, probably some dodgy scammers abroad who have no respect at all.

SCAMMERS everywhere! It's ridiculous now, I can't even answer my phone without someone saying I've won a prize or an iPad or something! Wish it was true, but sadly it's not. I'm thinking about changing my number because almost every call I receive is some sort of scam! Fed up with it! No idea how they still manage to get away with this. Even when I try to check my voicemail, they’re eating up my credit! Honestly, it's safer now to just ignore all calls until I get a new number. So annoying!

They keep ringing loads of different numbers saying you won an iPad or MacBooks. Don’t bother answering. If you really had won, you’d have got some kind of proper info about your prize. Best just to ignore it, it’s a total waste of time and cash if you listen to the voicemails. Cheers for reading!

Dont bother answering! Its obviously just scammers saying ive won a prize or something. Every time I block one number, they ring from a new one, all from places like Glasgow, Manchester, Sunderland and Birmingham. Its proper annoying so now I just pick up, hang up quick and block em straight away!

Some weird bloke called claiming I'd won the EuroMillions, so even tho I'm 27, I told him I was only 15 and too young to play. They just hung up on me! Feels like I outsmarted those phone scammers lol. My sister wasnt so lucky, she answered and followed everything, gave them her bank info and they ended up draining her account, right on pay day! I use this app called 'WhitePages' on my phone which gathers a list of spam numbers and blocks them right away, so they can't bother you. If you haven’t got it yet, I’d definitely suggest giving it a go. The dodgy number might try ringing you but the app stops it straight away. Plus, you can add any spam numbers you come across so it blocks them for you and others too.
