Got called by someone with an Indian accent pretending to be from the housing disrepair department. Honestly, it was so obvious it was a scam. You'd think they'd realise by now that nobody’s dumb enough to get caught out by these tricks. Such a waste of their time!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from the Housing disrepair team. I told him that department isn’t real. He kept asking if our place had any mould or damp problems, even though we’re actually a business. I told him everything’s fine, cheers, and then he just ended the call.

So fed up with these annoying calls from some Indian call repair company. They keep changing their phone numbers and callers but keep ringing non stop!!! I’ve told them plenty of times to remove my number and stop contacting me. They promise they will but then carry on anyway!!! No clue how they even got my number since I haven’t used their service in over a year and a half!!! How do I get them to finally leave me alone?!
I live in London but for some reason I’m getting spammed from Manchester numbers too, even on WhatsApp with texts and calls?! What’s going on?!

Got repeated calls from some bloke with an Indian accent, keeps talking about fixing houses. He’s rung me up three times now, all from Manchester. Each time, he opens with exactly the same spiel. Told him to stop and to remove my number from their list, but no luck. Definitely better to just block him.

I wasn’t home when the call came through, and they didn’t bother to leave a message.

The bloke had such a thick accent I couldn’t make out a word he was saying. I tried to ask what firm he represented and the reason for the call, but he just cut me off and ended the call!

They called me using my partners name, mr-----, which is pretty strange because only a few people know that name. I reckon it’s probably Pop Telecom who passed on her info without permission.

7th September 2022. Got a random call from a bloke who said he loved me! He somehow knew my last name but stumbled over how to say it, and claimed he’d seen my photo somewhere. I barely said more than ‘hello’ when I picked up, kept quiet after that, and after going on for a bit, he just hung up. I reckon he realised his call wasn’t going anywhere since I didn’t really respond.

Received a call supposedly from the Housing Disrepair Department, who said they were contacting me for the council about making claims for tenants. They were quite pushy and kept ringing back. They even seemed to know my name and address, probably from public info sources.

Proper strange that call was! Some bloke with an Indian accent said his name was Harry and suddenly started telling me how much he loved me, even broke into a little song about it. Gave me a right chuckle, didn’t expect that. Then he said I’d made him cry ‘cause I’m married and don’t feel the same. Bit mad, honestly!
