Got a call from someone claiming to be 'Michelle', part of some new twist on that old 'UK ...' scam series. This time they called from 'UK Today'. Needless to say, they’re blocked now.

They changed the last three numbers just a bit, so my call blocker didn’t catch it. Same caller, though.

This number just wont stop calling, pretty sure it’s dodgy. Definitely not genuine.

I got a call once where the person on the other end didn't say a word, just rang me and hung up after I replied hello. It's happened a couple of times with the same number, but there was another call from a very similar number, just differing in the last two digits. This time a man with an Indian accent who said his name was Alister answered - which struck me as odd since that isn’t a typical Indian name. Loads of these calls seem like they’re from dodgy scam operations claiming to be various companies, but they never actually try to sell you anything.
