We were asked to come in for an interview just a day after submitting our CV, which raised the first red flag. The job advert on Total Jobs was quite ambiguous, which was our second concern. When we rang the company for some clarity on what they actually do, the lady was rather evasive and suggested it would all be clarified during the interview, another warning sign. To top it all off, she gave us a web address that turned out to be non-existent-either incompetent or dodgy, take your pick. Overall, the entire situation felt quite odd and definitely stirred up some doubts. Trust your instincts on this one. Our suggestion? Have a look at Companies House for more insight.

I certainly can't label EA Acquisitions as a fraud - it seems Gumtree’s keen to keep tabs on those offering job advertisements. We've got this 'interview' lined up for tomorrow, but I'm definitely not attending. Honestly, I'm feeling a bit disheartened, but more than anything, I’m absolutely furious!

Oh, we failed to mention that we submitted our application today and promptly received an email inviting us to call for an interview. Then, to add to the peculiarities, they left us a voicemail earlier today! Honestly, it raises a few eyebrows-it's a tad unusual, almost as if they're rather eager for a company that's been around since 2006!

Is this the same situation as the Nottingham one? Everyone seems to rave about Manchester. We submitted our application online and now have an interview tomorrow, as we got a call back from them! Feeling a bit uncertain about the next steps, to be honest.

I received a missed call from this number and thought I'd give it a ring back. It turned out to be some sort of marketing outfit. Honestly, I’m baffled as to how they even got hold of my number! They claimed they’d give me a ring again and even jotted down my name and number, which struck me as a bit odd since they were the ones who called me first. So, I decided to do a quick search online to see what the deal was. Turns out, it’s a total scam! They’re supposedly an up-and-coming international marketing firm, but really they’re just peddling some dodgy products through door-to-door sales. What a cheek!

That call might be linked to a handful of firms looking to 'enlist' you, including EA Worldwide Acquisitions, JL Acquisitions Ltd, G Force Marketing, SRM Marketing, and Primus United Kingdom Ltd. They are all located at 16 Newton Street in Manchester. I recommend doing a bit of digging online with their names coupled with 'scam' or 'cult' for added insight, or check out other comments on this page for more details.

I received a rather curious phone call regarding a legitimate job opening. It seems it’s based in Nottingham, not in “Manchester” as the caller claimed. Quite perplexingly, there are two establishments sharing the same address but situated in distinct cities. Do yourself a favour and just ignore it; it’s not worth your time!

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this webpage before our interview scheduled for tomorrow. A massive thank you to everyone who shared their experiences here!

I had a similar experience, you know. We put our names down for a job and in this challenging time, I was rather thrilled that we got a call. I’m all set for the interview, just doing a bit of homework on the company, and then I stumbled across this information. Now I'm in a bit of a muddle-not quite sure whether I should still attend the interview or give it a miss. What do you reckon?

My partner experienced something eerily similar when she received an email inviting her for an interview after submitting her application. Upon noticing that the email originated from a Gmail account instead of a proper company domain, we thought it wise to investigate further. That’s how we stumbled upon this website. We’ve gone through the comments shared by others, but she felt it was still necessary to witness the situation firsthand, and she’s currently attending that meeting, as I write this. We’ve advised her to remain vigilant and to walk away if anything feels off. Let’s see how things unfold, shall we?

Blimey, David! It’s quite astonishing that we received the very same email, isn’t it? We’ve come to a decision now, but honestly, it’s baffling that such things are still occurring. It feels like the Government is just brushing off genuine concerns while these companies can just up and leave without a second thought! It really gets on our nerves!

Honestly, it seems like you've got no idea what you're on about. The initial training phase they've implemented has enabled many of us to rake in a day's earnings that surpasses what we used to make in a whole month on a flat salary. Until you actually dive into this line of work, it's hard to grasp how things truly function. So, I kindly ask you not to jeopardise anyone's opportunity to earn a proper wage. It's simply not fair to stand in the way of their livelihood.

What a scam these individuals are! They've published a plethora of job listings claiming to present a life-altering opportunity. Yet, when you finally step into the interview, it quickly becomes apparent that it’s merely a ruse for door-to-door sales. In our situation, it turned out to be charity work in Rochdale. Quite disappointing, really!

We’re absolutely chuffed to have stumbled upon this! We received an email earlier today and thought we’d take a gander at the site, and lo and behold, we found this gem. Delighted we took the time to read it. Thanks a bunch, Emma!

We submitted our applications to Primus UK, SRM Marketing, and G Force Marketing! It's quite apparent that they are all essentially the same entity operating from the same location in Manchester. We went for an interview at G Force (though it hardly matters, as they all appear to be clones of one another). The office itself was rather shabby, and we were only there for about ten minutes. Not exactly a promising impression. It turns out the role involves door-to-door sales with rather meagre pay. I’d also recommend steering clear of 3D Marketing in Manchester, as they go by quite a few different names. Does anyone know if this could be considered illegal? :)
