Honestly, that was more than enough for me!22 daysGot a call from someone claiming to be ‘John’, an energy advisor from my area. They keep ringing me daily, always from different numbers, sometimes mobiles. It’s clearly an AI bot trying to get me to do some voice verification and offering a free energy check. I tried messing about with fake info, hoping to catch a real person and figure out which company or scam this is. They said they’d ring back within the hour, but no luck. Properly annoying scam, and next time I’ll just hang up right away.John22 daysPhone rang but no voicemail left behind. Funny thing is, my screen showed it as a nuisance call, which it clearly was.23 daysMy phone flagged this as a spam call so I decided not to answer it.23 daysGot a call from some automated system claiming to be from an energy supplier. They wanted me to answer with my voice. Total scam, don't fall for it!23 daysThe number popped up but I had no idea who it was, the phone seemed to flag it as some sort of spam.23 daysHad a bloke ring me up at half past four from 01612419828, chatting away in English, saying he wanted to set up a survey for a loft installation. When I asked for his company name, he said his name was Ben and he was from Oxford. I told him straight up that I've had loads of dodgy calls like this before, and he just ended the call right there. Would definitely think twice before handing over any details to callers like this. Someone sounding all smooth and confident doesn’t mean you can trust them, so my advice is to keep your wits about you.BenOxford23 daysThe phone just won't stop buzzing, but whenever I pick up, there's complete silence on the other end.23 daysGot two calls from them today. The first time my partner answered and instantly said they were scammers. He ended up just hanging up and told them to do one.Submit Your Own Report (0161 241 9828)
