Someone with a bit of an odd international accent called asking for Miss Debbie. I've had calls like this on and off for years, always asking for her. Not sure if it's just me getting them or if this is their usual tactic. It's so irritating. They never say who they are or why they're calling. I just bluntly said no thanks, hung up quick, and blocked the number straight away.

Sometimes I think these calls are maybe trying to capture your voice for some kinda AI voice clone or deepfake thing. Whenever I answer, I just say a quick, sharp “Hello” and then keep quiet. Often they end up asking stuff like “Can you hear me alright?” and I reckon they're hoping you’ll answer with a “Yeah” so they can grab it. Could be wrong though, just a hunch!
