I got a call from someone asking if we had any job openings and wanted to chat straight with our HR team. They said they’re based in Dubai right now but originally from Pakistan and were interested in moving to the UK for work. Seemed a bit fishy, like one of those phishing scam calls.

Got a call yesterday but didn’t pick up, then they rang me again today. The person on the line claimed I’ve got a car on finance. I calmly told them that’s not true and asked them not to bother me anymore. Somehow they said I was being rude and just dropped the call. Seems like they’ve got no clue about what being polite means, let alone what abuse is! Best thing is just don’t pick up for people like that.
