I TOLD THEM TO SPECIFY WHICH HMRC OFFICE THEY WERE CALLING FROM, AND THEN SUDDENLY THEY WENT SILENT AND CUT THE CALL. FOLKS, ALWAYS ASK LOADS OF QUESTIONS WHEN YOU GET THESE CALLS - IT CONFUSES THEM AND THEY TYPICALLY BACK OFF.

This number has called me a couple of times. Thankfully I never pressed 1. Being a pensioner, I get loads of these scam calls and it’s hard to tell if they’re legit or not. What I do know is they’re scary and I end up worrying about it for ages. I always use this site now to see if others have had calls from this number. Feels really dodgy.

It showed up as Oldham County Court on my caller ID but I didn't pick up since I've never had any business with the courts, especially not in Oldham! Really glad I looked it up here first. It's crazy that folks are pretending to be the court, they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it. It's really risky because some people will believe them for sure!
