Honestly, don’t ring this number again, it’s a proper scary scam! They’ll drop a voicemail warning you about “legal troubles” if you don’t answer. Just ignore it and don’t bother calling back!

Got a call from 0161 240 3404, some automated voice claiming to be Remie Wilson from HMRC. They said I had to ring back straight away or else there’d be an arrest warrant out for me. Total scam, because HMRC always contacts me by letter, never calls on my mobile or landline. It’s really worrying how these scams keep happening and they need to be shut down.

Got a call from a Manchester landline about my phone usage and text messages, asking me to check my mobile voicemail. Doesn't seem right at all, not from my actual network provider. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so just watch out for that.
