I received a call from a person, possibly Indian, though I couldn’t quite discern their gender. They were claiming to be from TalkTalk, insisting that my computer was infected with a virus. I engaged with them for a brief spell, but eventually revealed that I don’t actually own a computer. Their retort was rather amusing: “THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME.” I mean, really? So I’m somehow the one wasting their precious time? They ought to try their hand at stand-up-talk about a performance! It’s laughable when you consider that they called me about a computer issue, yet if they were truly legitimate, wouldn't they have realised I’m not in possession of one?
