It feels less like a conversation and more like a persistent game of harassment. Today, I decided I’d had enough. After they called me for the fourth time, I returned the favour and bombarded them with 100 calls in just under 5 minutes, constantly hanging up as soon as someone answered. On the final call, I allowed them to connect and greeted the obviously annoyed representative with, "Frustrating, isn’t it? Now kindly remove my number from your records, because from here on out, I'm going to return every call you make to me with a hundred times the effort!" He simply responded with a resigned “Fine,” and hung up. I had a good laugh about it!
